THE JUMPING FROG

14th September 2014

This might be rather called a silent play. The whole drama had no dialogues. For an ordinary drama goer like me, it seemed a hard work and a lot of effort in the part of the actors.

Dancing moves of the actors were the best ones. It required lots of energy and provided entertainment to the audience. The self mask-making must have taken a lot of time.

The play seemed slightly boring at times. The lengthy parts could have been minimized. Overuse of signs and no dialogues put audience into a lot of work. Stage could have been kept much higher so that the details could be seen. Many a times, they were missed. A large number of characters confuse the audience. This could have been thought as well.

However, first effort of the director/writer is good. Musical part was amazing. Outfit, setting, light were good. But was the output less as compared to the effort?
